Technical details in connection with visits to this website are logged by our internet service provider for our statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to identify website visitors. The technical details logged are confined to the following items:

Glossary of technical terms used:
The piece of software you use to read web pages. Examples are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Opera.

We stayed here with 2 children and found the hotel excellent. The staff in the breakfast bar were so friendly and accomadated any requests we had. The bar was very comfortable and the food was great although the menu wasn't that big to choose from. Some of the staff in the bar weren't as friendly as other areas of the hotel. The bedroom looked lovely and modern the bathroom could do with being updated but was very clean. Location is great and we'll definitely return again.
I had a wonderful time at the glenroyal, as did my family. The reception staff were so friendly and accommodating, as were the bar staff and the guys in the breakfast bar. Unfortunately we had a really horrible experience in the Thai restaurant upstairs. The 'service' left a lot to be desired, I work in the service industry myself and know how frustrating it can be but I had a horrible experience with both the front of house man, followed by the manager of the restaurant. Both were incredibly rude and belittling. I felt completely intimidated by the two, as did my mother and my nephew. That said, again I must take time to commend the hotel staff, they were very pleasant and we loved the pool! Would have loving to give 5 stars all round, but unfortunately the service in the Thai place really took the whole experience down a couple of notches. Sincere thanks for the hospitality we did receive.
