Wallaby Woods Donadea opened to the public in 2013. It is a family run Open Farm set in 16 acres of woodland incorporating a number of water features. With 35 species to see and lots of activities on offer, it is a wonderful experience for all ages. Explore all of their nature trails, discover lots of different exotic animals and learn about each animal and their habitat.
Wallaby Woods offers a great day out for explorers of all ages. Their nature trails and woodland walks are a great interactive nature and animal experience. With many rare breeds to be discovered over 1.5m of beautiful walkways and flora and fauna. Or if you fancy being a bit more adventurous, why not try their zipline or have a play in one of their playgrounds?
Wallaby Woods are also wheelchair friendly, and have disabled access.
Wallaby Woods is only a short 20 minute drive from Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club. To drive there from our hotel, continue to Straffan Rd/R406, head west, turn right then left toward Straffan Rd/R406. Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Straffan Rd/R406, turn left onto Main St/R148, continue straight onto Parson St or R408, turn right onto Newtown Road/R408, slight right onto L1010 (signs for Donadea), continue onto Barberstown Rd and your destination will be on the right.
