Things to do at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre

The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is perfect for all Broadway, musicals and orchestra lovers! They have everything from Ballet, opera, rock gigs, country to serious, hard hitting dramas.

Check out their list of upcoming shows, you'll find something for everyone! Other than their wide variety of performances, the outdoor plaza of the theatre is its own art exhibit. The theatre is an iconic landmark designed by the world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind. The plaza invites the public to view the soaring glass façade of the theatre much like a glass curtain, which tilts back in space in diagonal pleats. The theatre is a striking cultural presence in Ireland. The drama of the architecture mirrors the spectacular performance art that takes place within. The red "carpet" outside the theatre is made of bright red resin-glass paving covered with red glowing angled light sticks and designed by Martha Schwartz.

The theatre truly is a sight to behold.
