This St. Patrick’s Day, Kildare is set to come alive with a vibrant programme of parades, community celebrations, and family-friendly events. In Maynooth, our parade draws locals and visitors together for a colourful celebration of Irish pride. Maynooth St. Patrick’s Day Parade Details:
Date: Tuesday, 17th March 2026
Time: Usually starts around 11:00am
Starting Point: Greenfield Shopping Centre
Route: Runs through the town, often ending near Tesco
Road Closures: Expect closures on Main Street and surrounding areas from approximately 10:30am to 12:30pm

Family Fun Day at Glenroyal Hotel
After the Maynooth St. Patrick’s Day parade, continue the celebrations at our Family Fun Day. Open to the public in the Corrib Centre from 11:00am–3pm, it’s the perfect way to keep the whole family entertained. Entertainment includes:

Face Painting
Magic Show (1pm–2pm)
Food & Full Bar Available
Admission is €10 per child.
