Bloom
Date: 1st – 5th June, 2023 | Location: Phoenix Park
Each year gardening enthusiasts descend on the Phoenix Park to enjoy Bloom. Taking place from June 1st-5th 2023, it celebrates the best of Irish horticulture, food and drink and welcomes thousands of visitors each year. From show gardens and floral displays to gardening advice and food and drink retailers there is something for everyone. Bloom makes a great day out for the whole family.

Taste of Dublin
Date: 15th – 18th June 2023 | Location: Iveagh Gardens
Taste of Dublin is an annual event that transforms the Iveagh Gardens into a foodie haven. It is a celebration of food and drink with live masterclasses from world class chefs, sample dishes from Dublin’s most exciting restaurants and boutique food producers that offer something new and mouth-watering. It is a great day out for all food lovers.

Picnic in the Park
Date: 18th June 2023 | Location: Harbour Field, Maynooth
Picnic in the Park is a great free family fun event hosted by Maynooth County Council. With a sports day, picnic area, face painting and many more, it is a great day out for all. Keep an eye out for the Shoda truck selling delicious coffee and sweet treats.
Dublin Horse Show
Date: 9th - 13th August 2023 | Location: RDS
Held in August each year and one of Irelands largest events, the Dublin Horse Show welcomes people from all over the world. With thrilling sporting events such as the showing classes and international show jumping along with bars and restaurants, it is a great place to enjoy a unique equestrian event with fun for both adults and children.

Kildare Derby Festival
Date: June 26th to July 2nd, 2023 | Location: Kildare Town & Curragh Racecourse
This year the 45th Kildare Derby Festival will be taking place, which is a weeklong festival for all generations. With open air concerts and great racing, it is sure to be an exciting festival. Many events will be taking place in Kildare town with the week ending with thrilling racing at the Curragh Racecourse. Make sure you pop into the Shoda Café in the Queen’s Room at the Curragh for some delicious coffee, sandwiches and sweet treats over the weekend.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann
Date 6th-14th August 2023 | Location: Mullingar
The Fleadh Cheoil is a celebration of Irish music, dance and tradition. With competitions at the heart of the event, there will be competitors of all ages covering all aspects of Irish music, dance and singing. With musicians and dancers coming from all corners of the country it is set to be an exciting festival full of ‘craic agus ceoil’ .
