Covid-19 Cancellation Policy In response to changing marketplace conditions, Glenroyal Hotel is committed to ensuring our Guests and Customers experience flexibility during these challenging times. We have implemented the following policies: For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival,* as long as the change or cancellation is made by June 30, 2020. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences. For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and June 30, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date.* Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences. Please note that this policy does not apply to travel associated with a Group booking. For guests with Group reservations (e.g., for meetings, events or conferences), please review the booking rate rules and contact the group organizer for more information. *Important Information: Some exclusions may apply. May exclude periods with special event restrictions or peak demand weeks. Please refer to the property and Rate Details for applicable terms or exceptions, if any, when booking or changing reservations. Individual (transient) guestroom reservation refunds of any kind (e.g., cash or credit voucher) may take up to 30 days from the date of cancellation to be processed.


General Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can only be made by phoning or faxing the hotel directly. You should save the cancellation confirmation number you receive. Reservations Cancellation policy is by 12 mid-day the day prior to arrival. In the event of late cancellation or non-arrival your credit card will be charged for one night's accommodation for each room reserved. Advance Purchase Rates For all Advance Purchase Rate reservations, the room rate for the full duration of the stay and any pre-booked amenities (eg champagne on arrival or extra meals) is charged in full at time of reservation. If you cancel for any reason, attempt to modify this reservation, or do not arrive on your specified check-in date, your payment is non-refundable. Group Bookings For group bookings of 5 rooms a separate cancellation policy applies, please contact the hotel directly. Pre-Booked Amenities/Package Elements Charges will apply for all additional amenities pre-booked with the reservation even if they are not taken (eg breakfast, wine, early-arrival, late check-out). Any unused amenities/package elements are non-transferable and non-refundable. Cancellation Following Non-Arrival If you have not checked-in or contacted the hotel by phone to reconfirm that you still intend to arrive before 8am the morning after your confirmed arrival date we will assume your reservation is cancelled and you will be charged the fees as above.


Rate Rules & Restrictions

At check-in, the front desk will verify your departure date. Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to depart early price may be subject to change. Full payment is required at check In or pre-authorisation of Credit Card will be required. Debit Card payments are required at check in stage.

Booking Deposit

Please note that your credit/debit card will be charged a non-refundable booking deposit as itemised during the booking process. Guests who have guaranteed their reservations with credit card will be asked for pre-authorisation on arrival. Guests paying cash or debit card will be asked for full prepayment of the balance on arrival and may be asked for a further security deposit for incidentals or charging facilities.

Booking Fee

As this is a live transaction system, all credit/debit cards are checked directly with the banking system. The bank levies a fee to cover the cost of each and every credit card verification check. Please note these transaction costs are borne by us whether you cancel your booking or not, the deposit and booking fee is always non-refundable.

Age Restrictions & ID Requests

We are an Over 21 years Age Category Hotel, if you are under 21 years of age and wish to book a bedroom you must be accompanied by a person over the age of 21 years. ID will be requested on Check-in. The Hotel has the right to refuse a guest stay if sufficient ID is not presented on arrival.
